How We Work
Six steps from brief to dismantling. Know what happens at each stage, and what we need from you.
No Surprises, Just a Schedule
Trade fair dates do not move. So we plan every project backwards: we start from the opening day and count back through installation, freight, production and design to find the date the work has to begin. The durations below are typical for a custom wooden stand of 30 to 60 m²; production and installation stretch as the area grows.

Day 1
1. Brief and Requirements
We go through the show, the dates, the stand area and how many sides are open, the products on display, the number of meetings you are aiming for and your budget range. We read the organiser's technical regulations together.
What we need from you: Your space contract, the stand layout plan and your brand guidelines. -
3-5 working days
2. Concept Design and 3D Presentation
We work out how the space should be used and prepare two distinct concept directions. The presentation includes photorealistic renders, plans and elevations, so you know where you will be standing and what you will be looking at before anything is built.
What we need from you: Feedback consolidated into a single review meeting. -
2-4 working days
3. Revisions, Budget and Approval
We work the revisions into the chosen concept and settle the material and lighting decisions. This is where you receive the itemised budget, so you can see exactly what each part of the stand costs.
What we need from you: Written design approval and a signed contract. -
2-4 weeks
4. Production and Workshop Trial Build
Technical drawings go to the floor and joinery, paint and graphics run in parallel. Critical assemblies are trial-built in the workshop, so problems surface here rather than on site.
What we need from you: Final artwork and print-ready graphic content. -
1-3 days
5. Freight and On-Site Build
Our crew arrives within the organiser's build-up window. Electrics, lighting, flooring, furniture and graphics all go in. The stand is handed over to you at least one evening before the show opens.
What we need from you: The arrival time of the products going on display. -
After the show
6. Dismantling, Storage and Review
Our crew clears the space once the show closes. Reusable elements go into our store and are kept until your next fair. A short review meeting covers what worked and what we would change.
What we need from you: Your show calendar for the coming year.
The most common mistake
Starting the design a month before the show. When production time is compressed, either the design gets simpler or the rush cost lands in the budget. For a comfortable process, start 8 to 10 weeks out.
